According to stereoscopic industry on 18th of October, 3DTV broadcast equipments ranging from Stereo-Camera to lens and Signal Dispensers were already developed by a domestic company and started to substitute foreign-manufactured ones in the market.　

Especially, along with High-definition TV, these equipments have started to be marketed to overseas Korean companies are making a new stroke in the history of next-generation high-tech Stereoscopic 3DTV industry.

PhD Chang-sup Park, KBS(Korean Broadcasting System) Research Institute pointed out that “It is true that 3DTV broadcast equipments for shooting and transmission were already successfully localized by a domestic company, however, there is much more things that need to be done in display area that consists of important industrial core portion in overall stereoscopic industry.

Stereopia (Mr Youn-woo Lee) has independently developed HDTV-class Stereo-Camera and Multiplexing equipments for HDTV-class 3DTV broadcast. It took 8 years for developing these investing approximately KW 200,000,000(US$ 1,900,000) and Stereopia has a plan to supply these to a major broadcaster in Japan soon or later. According to this company, “recently, there are many inquires on these from foreign companies and broadcasters and they showed strong interests in purchasing these equipments”.

Stereopia is also pioneering and focusing on three-dimensional real “stereo-feel” shooting techniques as well as a bit exaggerated “Projected Effect” in realizing stereo-feel.
